Welcome to the LSCB webpages dedicated to to voluntary, community and faith groups and supplementary schools in Sutton.  The LSCB is aware that many groups need support in ensuring their safeguarding children arrangements are up to date and work well.  Sutton LSCB, in partnership with Sutton CVS, has produced a guidance for such groups and is available through this website.  In the guidance you will see all the issues that you need to take on board to run a safe group for children. 

Mental Health and Wellbeing for Young People

Esteem Sutton is a partnership of experienced local community based providers of mental health and wellbeing services for children, young people and their families. This booklet is a directory of services available for any organisation that works with young people. 

The Safe Network

The Safe Network is a dedicated child safeguarding resource for the community and voluntary sector. They are working towards developing common standards across the sector.

The Safe Network also provides a dedicated Multi-faith safeguarding hub, which includes new video statements, stories and texts, case scenarios and examples of good practice.

The Safe Network provides training and events for the voluntary sector, including free e-learning courses and webinars:
