Sexual Health

It is important that young people make positive and healthy lifestyle choices so they can improve their personal health and emotional wellbeing. It can be really difficult to talk about sex but it is very important to find out about contraception and consent so you can make the right choices.

Everyone has questions or worries about sex and it's normal to feel like this. You should be able to ask whatever you want and not be embarrassed.

This section will provide you with information on healthy relationships, consent, contraception, sexually transmitted disease and where you can get confidential help and support.

Check it Out clinic for under 20's where you can get FREE condoms, emergency contraception, pills and advice. We can test for chlamydia and gonorrhoea, as part of the national screening programme and HIV and syphilis if appropriate. Treatment for chlamydia is also available by appointment.
